The Dobbs Challenge, for which the entry deadline is June 13th, 2008 at 11:59pm PDT, will give out five major awards:

Best Windows Game ($4,000)
Best Windows Mobile Game ($2,000)
Best One Button Game ($1,000)
Best Game Starring Dr Dobbs And The Defy All Challenges Crew ($1,000)
Best Total Conversion ($1,000)

With one further award, The Dobbs First Month Challenge ($1,000), for the best game to be developed within the first week of the contest beginning, with an entry deadline of April 14th, 2008 at 11:59pm PDT.

There will be one winner for each award, named on June 30th, 2007 - except the First Month Challenge winner, named on April 21st. Entrants in the First Month Challenge may submit a new final version before the June 13th deadline.
