Punkle's Windows Version Mod

This Critic's Choice mod was developed by Punkle and submitted as part of the The Dobbs First Month Challenge. Punkle explains:

"What a blast I've had making this game! Really hope you enjoy Dobbs Derby.... ever played slot-car racing/scalextric games? This is the 21st century version! Only needs one button, just like on the old AC controllers. Get a friend to join you at your keyboard and compete for the fastest lap!

Well, there isn't much new technology in there save for a few patches to the sprite system to allow rotations and scaling. I've also added a simple particle system to help jazz things up. The Dobbs game did so much out of the box - I was surprised how flexible it was and that it let me make a totally different game quite so quickly.

The hardest part was parsing the tracks and making sure all the segments join up etc. Unfortunately the level editing is a little involved hence the lack of decent tracks - that's my biggest regret but I'm hoping for version 2 for the full competition so fingers crossed!
