Ethanpack's Windows Version Mod

This Critic's Choice mod was developed by Ethanpack and submitted as part of the The Dobbs First Month Challenge. Ethanpack explains:

"For our submission, we decided to incorporate a fun shoot-em-up aspect into the mod. Instead of the fastest time of collecting the tokens as the scoring method, we chose to give the player 60 seconds per level and have him/her 'shoot to survive' while collecting tokens dropped by the destroyed enemies.

Although you can play as any character, I usually play as Dr. Dobbs, since the enemies are members of the 'Defy All Challenges' crew - well, except for one special level, where Dobbs himself is helping out the baddies!

In our entry, the walking bug acts as a grenade that our hero lobs toward the enemies as they roam back-and-forth on three platforms trying to de-compile Dobbs. The flying bug serves as a bug ammo refill, giving Dobbs five more grenades in his cache. Things speed up quickly, so you can be sure to see some frantic action as you play.

In addition to the change of game dynamic, we added - and are still adding - some graphical and presentational flair by way of camera shakes upon enemy explosion, token animation to the GUI display area, and cross platform and momentum-based shot arching.
